Yakima, Hanford, and The Dalles all reported a high temperature of 90 degrees today. At Yakima and Hanford this is the earliest date to reach 90 degrees. The previous record for both stations had been 24 April 1977 when Hanford reached 94 degrees and Yakima reached 92 degrees. Earlier that same month The Dalles reached 90 on 7 April 1977, a whopping 16 days earlier in the spring than this year. Last year Hanford did not reach 90 until nearly 2 months later on 22 June 2011.
