Heavy snowfall north of Spokane today

Heavy wet snow today north of Spokane has brought down a considerable number of trees.

OVER 40 MATURE TREES FELL DOWN ACROSS THE ROAD UP TO BEAR
CREEK LODGE. LODGE SITS AT 3100FT ALONG THE ROAD UP TO
MOUNT SPOKANE SP. WORST TREE FALL IN MEMORY OF LODGE
EMPLOYEE. ROAD CREW PERSON SAID IT WAS THE WORST TREE
FALL SINCE A STORM IN 1959. NO ESTIMATE FOR THE NUMBER OF
TREES DOWN ABOVE THE LODGE THROUGH MOUNT SPOKANE SP
THOUGH.
