Major storm last evening in the Bering Sea

A major cyclonic storm moved into the Bering Sea late yesterday causing high winds throughout the Aleutian Island chain. Particularly hard hit was the village of False Pass where winds were estimated to have reached 100 to 110 mph. This storm at 06 UTC 7 April 2011 had a 936 mb central pressure. Here are some of the reports issued by NWS Anchorage last evening:
